He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hilger and Nancy Hilger; and his brothers, Chuck, Patrick and Robert.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy Jr.; his wife Catherine Hilger; his children, Kristi Self (Chad), Mandi Johnson, Cambri Hilger, Scott Laurel (DeAnna), Jameson Hilger (Taylona) and Bryan Laurel (Andrea); and his grandchildren, Xander, Riley Southern, Alexis, Talon Laurel, Wyatt Hilger, Samuel Johnson, Alistair and Cyrus Laurel.
