With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Lee Wingate Sr. of Evergreen, Colorado, born in Pitkin, Louisiana, who passed away on February 15, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Lee Wingate Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernie Wingate and Evelene Wingate. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Teer Wingate; his children, John Lee Wingate Jr., Daniel Blake Wingate (Sunni Wingate) and Melinda Wingate Tolentino (John Thomas Tolentino); his grandchildren, Savanah, John Blake, Summer and Hunter; and his siblings, Judy Cloud Wingate and Robbie Wingate (Judi Ann Wingate).

In lieu of flowers, contributions in John's memory can be made to the Evergreen Rotary Foundation, PO Box 4143, Evergreen, CO 80437, to benefit international service projects he championed.
