Rodger L Moores Obituary
Rodger L Moores (62) moved on from this world after a long and brave fight to live, on October 1, 2021.
He leaves behind his wife, Juliet, and children Ruairidh, Elias Blue and Abi.
His children were his pride and joy. He would regularly beam with pride as he posted pictures, showing him standing beside them as they accepted awards or appeared in plays or concerts. He lived for them, dropping whatever he was doing to make trips to volleyball, football, recitals, and more. It was hard to miss him at games or concerts. But his size belied his magnificent and gentle heart and his kindness. Anyone who met him couldn't help but like the man who handled conflict and difficulty with an unexpected gr and diplomacy
This professionalism extended to his work ethic which he brought, together with a practical commonsense approval, to jobs he managed. As a construction GC with well over 35 years of experience, much of it in big bridges, Rodger was well respected throughout the construction community. He was just someone you wanted on your project and on your team.
Rodgers habit of putting others before his own welfare extended beyond his family to those in the veterans community, many of whom he rode with as an avid and hardcore motorcycle rider.
He went out of his way to honor and protect, respect and venerate veterans, many of them dealing with their own demons. Time spent with Rodger could make those demons disappear. That - or they simply couldn't keep up with him on his custom lowrider.
He was always there, always your friend, and was the best dad anyone could ever hope to have.

MEMORIAL SERVICE & CELEBRATION
A memorial will be held to celebrate Rodger's life at. the Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park in Evergreen Colorado 26624 North Turkey Creek Road, Evergreen CO 80439 at 11:30am Thursday October 28 2021
