He was predeceased by: his parents, Auldin Hand and Vivian Hand (Eller); and his siblings, Alice Bedingfield, Richard Hand, Bill Perdue and Jack Perdue.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hand (Demoret); his sons, Robert Eugene Hand (Tamara) of Georgetown, TX, Donald Wayne Hand (Ela) of Colorado Springs, CO and Michael Allen Hand (Ellen) of Firestone, CO; his grandchildren, John, Susan Shattuck of Haviland, KS., Ryan, Haylie, Jonathan, Kevin, Brady, Matthew, Jacob and Donald Jr.; and his sister Lorena Joyce Holcomb. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces.
