He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Marvin, Jeanette Hinton, Charles Kirby, Oney and Stella Barnes.

He is survived by: his wife Carolynn; his son Ryan Barnes (Evelyn); his grandson Rowan; his parents, George Barnes and Kathy Barnes; his in-laws, Carl and Sharon Leep; his siblings, Josh Barnes (Ashley), Misty Barnes and Sunny Bryant (Chris); and his siblings-in-law, Kim Leep and Bill Leep. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
