She was predeceased by: her parents, Mae Hagins and Roy Hagins; her husband Charles Oscar Gates (Chuck); her siblings, Doris and Stanley; and her son Mike.
She is survived by: her daughter Charla Whitman (David) of California; and her grandchildren, Chuck (Polly), Chris (Shana), Julie (Jeff) and Matt (Jaclyn). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful life-long friends.
