He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Fitzsimons Kirk and Robert Thomas Kirk. He is survived by: his friend Ed Dickens; his siblings, Jeff Kirk, Bob Kirk, Cheryl Schmidt and Keith Kirk; and his nieces and nephews, Tina, Tammy, Robert, Kye, Crystal, Nathon and Megan.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Resthaven Memory Gardens (8426 US-287, Fort Collins, CO 80525).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in support of children in need, and/or Tunnel to Towers, in support of veterans and first responders.
