It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan Coontz of Fort Collins, Colorado, born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on November 2, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Coontz and Helen Coontz. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Coontz (Faris); his sons, Jason Coontz (Samantha) and Chad Coontz (Robin); and his grandchildren, Blake Coontz, Tess Coontz and Ellery Coontz. He is also survived by three sisters; several nieces and nephews.
