David Holbrook Hawes Obituary

He was predeceased by : his mother Helen Hawes; his grandparents, William, Eldena Hawes, Horace and Caro Hopping; his uncle Clifford; his aunt Elizabeth Morrow; his father-in-law George "Cleve" Cleveland; his father George Hawes; his brother George Hawes Jr.; and his son Steven Hawes.
He is survived by : his wife Barbara Hawes of Fort Collins; his son Rem; his daughter-in-law Tina Hawes; his grandchildren, Morgan and Xan Hawes of Phoenix; his daughter-in-law Shawna Hawes; his grandchildren-in-law, Nora and Maile Hawes of Fort Collins; his brother-in-law Norman (Sally Babcock) of Meadville; his nieces, Lori and Holly; his nephew Ben Babcock; and his cousins, Rob (Chris Hawes), Bill Hawes, Maile (Dan Jones), Dena Hawes, Jay (Claudia Hawes) and Helene (Wayne Libby).
Memorial contributions can be made in Dave's name to the Poudre High School Athletic Department in Fort Collins, where his son Steve coached basketball for 20 years.
