Though Denise may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marlys Lenzen (Wilm) and Anton Lenzen (Tony); and her stepmother Genn. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Goehring (Tom) of Fort Collins, CO; her son Jonathan Goehring (Jonny) of Fort Collins, CO; her sisters, Donna Soncrant (Jim) of Moorhead, MN, Susie McConaughay (Charlie) of Princeton, MN, Sandy Mietz (Mike) of Lucerne, CA and Julie Scholler (Greg) of Grand Forks, ND; and her caregiver Julie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hills Lutheran Church (1200 S Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80521).
