With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Duane Harold Hanson of Fort Collins, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hanson and Judith Hanson (Witt); his wife Colleen Garrity; and his daughter Rochelle Bratton. He is survived by: his children, Douglas (Donna), Kenton, Laurie Welken (Wayne) and Mark; his grandchildren, Tyler, Alison, Jordan, Dillon, Kylan, Matthew, Andrew and Cameron; and his great grandchildren, Walker and Caleb.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given in Duane's name to Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Fort Collins, Colorado.
