We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2019, at the age of 84, Edgar Lee Rice Jr. (Fort Collins, Colorado), born in Wellington, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed C. Rice and Leona Schildt Rice; his son Gary; and his grandson Tyson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Reckard; his children, Larry (Diane), Sherry (Ernie Anthony) of Greeley, CO, Terri and Kerry (Cindy Cushman) of Louisville, KY.; his siblings, Jerry Rice (Carol) and Patricia Rice Noffke (Pete) of Menasha, WI.; and his grandchildren, Bryson (Johnna), Brent, Austin, Beau (Katie), Alyson (Dante Conti), Grace, Natalie, Chelsea, Joshua and Isaiah. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Ed's favorite charities would be appreciated: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children, or LaPorte Presbyterian Church, LaPorte, CO.
