He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Brunn Hoover and Edward Hoover; and his brother-in-law Tom Clark. He is survived by: his sister Sandy; his cousins, Pat, Mary, Judy, Susan and Bill; his wife Sue VandeWoude; his sister Sandra Clark of Arlington Heights, IL; his children, Susan, Matthew and Karen; his stepchildren, Eric, Eston of Boulder, CO and Sarah; his sisters-in-law, Gail VandeWoude of Orlando, FL, Cynthia VandeWoude of Grand Rapids, MI and Alice Fens (Peter); his nieces, Maureen (David), Megan (George), Kathleen (William) and Ferguson of Chicago, IL; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Caitlin Resac, Sophia Leone, Brayden Resac and Benjamin Leone.
