He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Bentley (Murray) and Robert Edward Bentley; his sisters, Ruth Bentley (Ken Rush) and Harriet Smith (Donald); and his brothers-in-law, David Osteen and William "Sonny" Kreutzer.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bentley of Year's Eve; his daughter Michelle Bentley Alexander (Bret Alexander); his granddaughter Sarah Alexander-Pope (Cameron Pope); his great grandchildren, Finn, Sirenna, Elodie, Stryker and Mazlyn; his pet Dexter; and his sisters, Phyllis Osteen, Margaret Helen Kreutzer and Sharon Yarnell (Michael Blades).
