She was predeceased by: her former husband Phil Mallard; her husband Dick Preston; and her siblings, Glen McConnell, Anna Lea, Juanita Davis, Oletta Freund and Opal Lee Disney.
She is survived by: her family Ethel; her son Rodney Preston; her daughter-in-law Heather Deshaies-Preston of Wellington; her siblings, Helen Perkins of Carlotta and Jim McConnell of Denver; and her brother-in-law Hubert Disney of Englewood. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
