With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Anthony DePetris of Fort Collins, Colorado, born in Jacksonville, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 42. As James Anthony departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James Anthony may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James Anthony leaves behind.
He is survived by: his son Hunter of Fort Collins; his parents, Melissa Boggs and Robby Boggs of Jacksonville; his brother Chuckie Metz; his children, Jacob and Hope Depetris; and his brother Jacob Depetris. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, grandparents, nieces, nephews, cousins and more friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at the Lory State Park (708 Lodgepole Dr, Bellvue, CO 80512).
