James Bauer Obituary
The memory of James Bauer (Fort Collins, Colorado), who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bauer and Lucille Bauer; his stepfather Clarence Kelley; his wife Mel Bauer; and his brother Jerry Bauer.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy Denny; his daughters, Lisa Bratten (Wade) and Stacy Bauer; his grandsons, Trent Bratten (Lauren), Jace Bratten (Emily) and Seth Bratten (Kristen); and his great grandchildren, Adelyn, Emery, Bowen, Carson and Brody.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home (8426 US-287, Fort Collins, CO 80525). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim's name can be made to The House of Neighborly Service or Meals on Wheels.
