He was predeceased by: his brothers, David Kaleolani Smythe (Kathleen), KC Smythe and Jordan Flowers. He is survived by: his sister Naomi Puanani Botelo Viera (family: Amy, Joe Carney); and his stepdaughter Shannon Arakaki.
