In the vast expanse of eternity, Joyce shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joyce farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee H. Clark and Edna M. Clark (Hammer); her husband Wendell J. Meyer; and her siblings, Jay Clark and Barbara DesJardien.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Meyer (Miriam), Julie Farrens (Dale Kohler) and Jeanine Dalzell (John); and her sister Birdice Torgove (CO). She is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (301 N 13th St, Clarinda, IA 51632). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent for St. John Lutheran Church, Clarinda, Iowa or American Legion, Clarinda, Iowa.
