With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen L. DeWitt of Fort Collins, Colorado, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2025. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her adoptive parents, Julia DeWitt and Richard DeWitt; her brother Skip; her children, Jennifer, Riley and Katie; her husband Malcolm Hughes; her sister Annie; her son David; her son-in-law Lucas; and her grandchildren, Adrian, Hauna, Teva, Zoe and Emmitt.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 4000 Buckskin Trail, Laporte, CO 80535.
