He was predeceased by: his parents, William Theodore "Ted" and Helen Marie Whitcomb; his wife Carol Rose Duerfeldt; and his siblings, Gene Whitcomb and Jim Whitcomb.
He is survived by: his children, Roger, Mark, Sheri and Duane; and his siblings, Tom Whitcomb, Ruth Troyer and Stan Whitcomb. He is also survived by his four children, 6 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
