She was predeceased by: her mother Van. She is survived by: her husband David MacPhee; her sons, Travis Gainley (TJ) and Dustin Gainley (Ashley); her stepdaughter Darcy MacPhee (Eric Jacobson); her father Jim Gimlett; her siblings, James (Maggie Gallivan), Danny (Barbi), Michael Gimlett and Manon Gimlett (Thaxter Cunio); her aunt Sherrie; her mother-in-law Carolyn MacPhee; and her granddaughter Clare. She is also survived by three nieces and nephews.

“Lisa Marie Gimlett was an American Field Service (AFS) student in the Mahmud Secondary School, in the town of Raub, in the state of Pahang in Malaysia from June -August 1976. This was also during the time of the summer olympics at Montreal, Canada, 43 years ago. My schoolmates and I are indeed saddened by the news of her passing and offer our deepest sympathies to her family. I herewith post our class photo with her in 1976.”
