He is survived by : his parents, Jim McCarthy and Ginny McCarthy; his sister Meagan McCarthy Dahlgren (John); his nieces and nephews, Nicholas Dahlgren, Zachary Dahlgren, Max Dahlgren, James McCarthy, Lyla McCarthy and Ellen McCarthy; and his caregiver Poudre Valley Hospital. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
