He was predeceased by: his parents, C. J. Hickman (Jim) and Shirley D. Hickman (Delbridge); and his sister Deborah Hickman. He is survived by: his wife Geri Rietcheck of Hutchinson; his children, Emily Hickman of Denver, CO and Ryan Hickman of Lawrence; and his siblings, Joyce (Abrames) and James "Bill" Hickman of Loveland, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
