He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen J. King and Elizabeth "Bette" King; and his brother David King. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his stepsons, Bob Safford, Dan Safford and Steven Hooker; his sister Melissa Riqueros of Santa Cruz, California; his nephews, Nick Riqueros of Aptos California and Jack Safford of Seattle, WA.; and his niece Shannon Olson (Safford) of Bothell, WA.
