It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Eugene Gittlein of Fort Lupton, Colorado, who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As William departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved William. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Gittlein and Anna Marie Gittlein (Obholz); his wife Veronica Canzona of Patrick's Church; and his sister Rose DiPaolo. He is survived by: his son Tim; his daughter-in-law Jolene; and his grandsons, Dominic and Vincent.
To honor Bill's lifelong dedication to agriculture, a scholarship will be administered through the Weld County 4-H Foundation.
