He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Floyd Phillips and Blanche "Honey" Phillips (Green). He is survived by: his friends, Bill Gassiott, Doug Dowling and Paul Korus; his wife Dottie Phillips (Reynolds); his brother Ralph Warren "Pete" Phillips; his children, Stacy Phillips and Joanie Patterson (Will); his grandchildren, Brenden Phillips (Thanairy), Lillian and Holly Patterson; and his great grandchild Vanellope Phillips.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary (225 E Platte Ave, Fort Morgan, CO 80701). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Helena Catholic Church (917 W 7th Ave, Fort Morgan, CO 80701).

Bob was a member of the Fort Morgan Optimists, and in later years an enthusiastically involved member of the Fort Morgan Museum's Heritage Foundation.
