He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Becker Ruppel and Henry Ruppel Sr.; his siblings, Henry Ruppel Jr. and Evelyn White; his niece Kari Kissler Wooldridge; his brother-in-law Mark Schneider; and his great-nephew Johnny McNabb.
He is survived by: his son Derek; his grandchildren, Jaden, Nevaeh and Madison; his great grandchildren, Tegan and Taleah; his sister Mary Ann Wooldridge; his nephews, Rob and Matthew; his niece Michelle; his sister Barbara Schneider; his nephew Jason; his nieces, Amber and Melanie; his brother-in-law Ron White; his nieces and nephews, Ronny, Tim, Rick and Cynthia Ruppel; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Pam, Delbert, Teresa, Craig and Denise; his friend James DePriest; and his son Justin Allen Ruppel.
