He is survived by: his wife Deloris Elaine Comer; his brothers-in-law, Van Brown of Des Moines and Kenneth Comer of Longmont, Colorado.; his son Tim Carpenter (Beth) of Fort Morgan; his grandsons, Zach Carpenter (Allison Mervau) of Fort Morgan and Jay Carpenter (Amanda) of Fort Morgan; his son Dan Carpenter (Karen); his grandchildren, Taylor Carpenter of Fort Morgan and Kaitlin Duke (Tyler) of Golden, Colorado; his son Kirk Carpenter; his grandsons, Cody Carpenter (Alisha Guiterrez) and Colton Carpenter (Tahais); and his daughter Kyla Carpenter-Atwood (Alex Atwood) of Greeley.
