He was predeceased by : his parents, James Theodore "Ted" and Hazel Groves (Barnes); his son Dave; and his siblings, Thea, James "Sonny" and Teddy Ray.
He is survived by : his wife Ruby; his siblings, Jerry Groves (Sandy) of Orchard, Wanda Knapp (late Dale) of Ft. Morgan, Thora "Snooks" Gardner (Don) of Weldona, Ellie Padilla of Ft. Morgan, Sharon Ann Reyman (Dude) of Ft. Morgan and Susie Montel (Tim) of Ft. Morgan; his sons, Ron (Debbie) of Parker, Jim of Ft. Morgan and Doug (Carol) of Brighton; his daughter-in-law Becky Groves-Silz (Martin) of Ft. Morgan; and his grandchildren, Jeff Groves (Erin) of Castle Pines, Christie Miller (Kurt) of Lone Tree, Jamie Bodine (Jarod) of Ft. Morgan, Angie Hoke of Ft. Morgan, Cassie Groves of Orchard, Elissa Groves of Wiggins, Danielle Aguirre (Serjio) of Ft. Morgan, Brie Grip (Ryan) of Colorado Springs, Caleb Silz (Hallie) of Ft. Morgan, Jodi Warner of Auburn, ME, Sarah Turner (Jeff) of Lochbuie, Shelby Rappenecker of Ft. Morgan and Katelyn Groves of Thornton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
