It is with sadness that the passing of Christine Bernice Valverde (Fountain, Colorado) is shared. Christine, born on January 8, 1958 in La Junta, Colorado, passed away on October 19, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eloy G. Valverde and Louise Valverde; her sister Virginia Valverde; her uncle Willie Vasquez; and her aunt Gertrude Diaz.
She is survived by: her siblings, Nicholas Sr., Eloy L., Matthew, Martha, Paul, Peter, Felix, Elizabeth Velasquez and Carmen Tedder. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dove Witt Family Mortuary (6630 S U. S. Hwy 85 87, Fountain, CO 80817). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Dove-Witt Family Mortuary (6630 S U. S. Hwy 85 87, Fountain, CO 80817).
