With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ross Leon Nielsen of Fountain, Colorado, who passed away on February 7, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Nielsen and Helen Nielsen; and his daughter Rebecca Ann Morrell. He is survived by: his wife Maryanne P. Nielsen; his siblings, Norma Jones and Chris Nielsen; his sister-in-law Pam Nielsen; his children, Tanya Nielsen, Patrick Nielsen and Sara Olmo; his son-in-law Reyes Olmo; his grandchildren, Kaleb Morrell, Kaeden Akeroyd, Tamara Nielsen, Tiffany McDowell, Kaeli Akeroyd, Teagan Olmo and Reyna Olmo; and his great grandchild Rebeca Sage McDowell. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces.
Although flowers are welcome, the family would be deeply grateful for any donations made to help support his wife and son with continued care and expenses.
