He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris E. Delzeit and Leon E. Svoboda Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Svoboda; his daughter Nicole Russomanno; his grandchildren, Nathan and Alyssa Russomanno; and his siblings, Mary Jo Svoboda Madsen and Larry Svoboda.
