He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin Giardino and Ellen Mae Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Karen J. Staley of Gilcrest, CO; his children, Julie Haagenstad (Travis) of Windsor, CO, Bryce Giardino (Micki) of Gilcrest, CO and Kim Giardino (Phil Salamanca) of Greeley, CO; his grandchildren, Wyatt Stevens of Minneapolis, MN, Zane Stevens of Amarillo, TX, Seth Haagenstad of Windsor, CO, Blake Olson (Maddie Beck) of Ft Collins, CO, Caleb Olson of Severance, CO, Kelsey Olson of Colorado Springs, CO and Kylie Salamanca of Greeley, CO.; his great grandchild Clementine Olson of Ft Collins, CO.; his sister Merrilee Simonton (Bob) of Canon City, CO; and his sisters-in-law, Dallas Staley of Windor, CO and Debbie Staley-Hebbeln (Jim) of Timnath, CO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
