We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2023, at the age of 76, Gary Lance Heisel of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, born in Cripple Creek, Colorado passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Lance Heisel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James William Heisel and Mary Stoner Heisel; his siblings, James Heisel (Lonnie), Miles Heisel (Kenny) and Margaret Heisel (Margie); and his son Andrew Heisel.

He is survived by : his nephew Luke Metheny; his brother Lonnie; his wife Linda Jean Metheny; his children, Mary Heisel and Fred (Dendy); his grandsons, Gus and Andy Heisel; and his sister Sharon Schumacher. He is also survived by inlaws, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of his memory, Gary's family encourages you to help a young person along their way, give your pets some extra love, and enjoy time with your family.

“Dear Family of Gary It was a teary-eyed reading of Gary's obituary in last Friday's paper. We were very fond of Gary. We proudly and happily live in our Heisel-built CO home of my dreams built in 2006-07. We are fortunate that he also built the duplex we bought earlier in GWS on Easy Street, before building our Springridge home in retirement.
