Janet (Jan) Shea Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet (Jan) Shea (Golden, Colorado), born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Donald Tibbetts and Marie Tibbetts; her children, Greg, Julie and Mark; her husband Dan Shea (Stanley Aviation); and her children, Cathy, Bob, Dedra and Terry. She was also cherished by her seven children and six grandchildren.
When the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020, the early signs of dementia became apparent.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jan's memory to Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice, whose mission she deeply believed in: to care for all mountain residents regardless of their ability to pay, offering medical, palliative, and hospice care, grief counseling, respite support, and their Camp Comfort program for bereaved children (ages 6–12).
