She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Billy McConnell and Eula McConnell; her husband Bob; her children, Bobby Vigil, Linda Atencio, Christina Martinez and Karen Marler; and her siblings, Peggy Buris, Mary Stonehocker and Pat McConnell. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
