It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lee Dennis (Golden, Colorado), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Lewis Vavra. She is survived by: her siblings, Sandra Friday (Vavra) and Larry Vavra; her son Sam (Gina); her daughter-in-law Liz; her son Lew (Margaret); and her grandchildren, Carly, Miles and Sam.
Following that she went to work at the Colorado School of Mines Foundation as their office manager and event planner, the job she eventually retired from.
