He was predeceased by : his parents, Napoleon Gonzales and Cruz Gonzales (Ibarra); his sisters, Margret Gonzales, Hilda Gonzales, Georgann Licon and Donna Gonzales; and his father-in-law Louis "Babe" Carr.

He is survived by : his wife Cathy Gonzales (Carr); his children, Chelsey McElrath (Colin) of Monument, CO, Amber Adams (Shawn) of Holly, CO and Dena Gonzales of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Casen, Camden Wagner, Colter, Luke and Tucker Adams; his siblings, Albert Gonzales (Charlotte) of Pueblo, CO, Andy Gonzales (Shirley) of Denver, CO, Greg Gonzales of Granada, CO, Nancy Campos (Mark) of Pueblo, CO, Sarah Ortiz (Victor Zubia) of Granada, CO and Jessie Joe Silva; his mother-in-law Carolyn Carr of Lamar, CO; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Otto (Glenn) of Granada, CO and Rodney Carr of Denver, CO. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Christian Church and/or Sunnyside Christian Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
