He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mace "Bud" and Lela Irene "Bitty" Palmer (Miller); and his brother Larry Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Sue Palmer; his children, Mandy Vanderpool (Leonard Smart) of Lamar, CO and Greg Palmer (Coky) of Bristol, CO.; his grandchildren, Ryan Pelton (Katie), Toni Pelton (Kelby Repp), Randy Vanderpool, Kirby Reyes (Davey), Kolby Palmer (Kelsey) and Koy Palmer (Jacqueline); and his great grandchildren, Ryler, Lylah, Daxson, Adalyn, Tatesen, Sage, Terek, Bentlee, Bryant, Baylor, Brya, Rynlee and Rayne.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hillside Cemetery (27000 Co Rd 25, Granada, CO 81041).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
