He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Smith and Florence Smith; and his sisters, Rosalie Smith of Hawthorne and Phyllis Mead of Denver. He is survived by: his wife Donna Craig; his brother Roy Smith (Donna) of Denver; his daughters, Penney Steele of Alabama and Sheila Smith of New Castle; and his grandchildren, Camie Walker of New Castle, Jeremiah Steele of Denver and Poonam Steele of Glenwood Springs. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Columbine Park (Columbine Park Court, Grand Junction, CO 81501).
