“When I had heard of my Uncle's passing it tore me apart. I remember always being excited to go to my Uncle Dieter & Aunt Dorothy's house because of the coy pond. I will forever cherish the memories of us feeding the fish & counting how many he had. Anytime we went to see a movie he would always come to say hi to us before we went in. I miss this man with all of my heart and wish I would have been able to say good-bye. I will one day be able to count the coy with you again. R.I.P Uncle Dieter!”

“I JUST learned of Dieter’s passing. He was a very good soul! We became friends after first meeting him and Dorothy and he soon had me upon his favorite 4-Wheeling site, the “Unc” (Uncompahgre), for several years thereafter. I will dearly miss all our rides! I’ll miss all our meetings in the neighborhood just to “shoot the bull” with each other. My daughter, Alicia, also worked for him at the theater and I know she and all the other young people he trained and helped will miss “Mr. S” !”
