She was predeceased by : her parents, Alva "Fred" Frederick (Fred) and Margaret White (Sollenbarger); her brothers, Stephen White, Michael Johnson Sr. and Paul Abbott; and her in-laws, Henry and Cora Diers.

She is survived by : her husband Don Ray Diers; her children, Holly Diers Stroud of Broomfield and Matthew Diers of Palisade, Colorado.; her brother Gordon E. White of Chicago; and also Diana. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
