He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Bryan Hinkle and Sylvia Barnard Hinkle; and his siblings, Phillip Hinkle, Darrel Hinkle, Bobby Jo Hinkle, Chester Morris Hinkle, Russel Hinkle, Mary Grace Doolin and Liz Backes.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Mae Hinkle of Grand Junction, CO; his children, Shawn Hinkle of Grand Junction, CO, RaeAnne Navarro of Boise, ID and Sanda Smith of Grand Junction, CO; and his brothers, Edwin Hinkle of Dinosaur, CO, Terrial Hinkle of Grand Junction, CO and Weldon Hinkle of Grand Junction, CO. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family is requesting memorial contributions to be made to St. Jude's in Eldon's name.
