He is survived by: his sister Joyce Parsons of Las Vegas, NV; his children, Harold, Jr. (Tina) of Chapel Hill, NC, Carolyn Johnson (Dennis Kalfas) of Citrus Heights, CA, Fred Johnson (Lynette) of Grand Junction, CO and Alan Johnson (Dee) of Phoenix, AZ; his grandsons, Trey Johnson, Chad Johnson, Jason Alexander and David Alexander; and his great grandchildren, Jeremy Owenby, Nathaniel Owenby, Jacob Johnson, Isabelle Johnson, Alana Alexander and Patrick Alexander.
In recognition of his contributions to the youth and beautification of Peabody, the Peabody Museum Complex fountain was refurbished in his name. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to his daughter, Carolyn Johnson, who will share with the other children.
