He is survived by: his wife Dora Renteria of Grand Junction, Colorado; his children, Manuel of Grand Junction, Elias (Cristian) and Michelle (Steven) of Battlement Mesa, Colorado.; his grandchildren, Andrew, Cesar, Gabriel and Alexia; and his siblings, Elias, Ben of St. Lucie, Florida, Helen of Washington, Estella of Grand Junction, Colorado., Connie of Grand Junction, Colorado., Rosie of Grand Junction, Colorado., Beatrice of Grand Junction, Colorado., Dolores of Grand Junction, Colorado. and Maryann of Grand Junction, Colorado.. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
