Sandra Gies Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Sandra Gies (Grand Junction, Colorado). Sandra, born on December 30, 1950 in Loveland, Colorado, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottie Fuqua and Martha Fuqua; her husband Arthur Paul Gies; her brothers, Wesley, Marvin and Richard; and her sister-in-law Patricia Fuqua.
She is survived by: her daughter Gretchen McLaughlin (Douglas); her granddaughters, Maggie and Ellie; her son Brian Gies (April); her grandchildren, Tyler (Faith), Christian, Alyssa, Miguel and Dazia; her sisters, Charlene Sackschewsky and Janice Schwindt (Kenneth); and her sisters-in-law, Beverly Fuqua and Judy Fuqua. She is also survived by nephews and nieces and their beloved partners; and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (3333 N Taft Ave, Loveland, CO 80538).
