He is survived by: his mother Teresa Garcia; his wife Nina; his children, Crystal Valdez and Adrian Alfredo Valdez; and his siblings, Patricia Valdez (Antonio Sanchez), Emma Valdez, Jesus Valdez (Blanca Pena-Valdez), Teresa "Terry" Valdez (Danny Castaneda), Manuel Valdez (Victoria), Francisco "Poncho" Valdez (Maria Lena), Maria Isidra Venezuela (Laurencio), Josephina Valdez (Lotario Pardo), Andrea Melendez (Antonio) and Gregorio Valdez (Belen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, in-laws.
