She was predeceased by: her parents, Purdy Marcellus and Cleo Marcellus; and her siblings, Rosemary Cook, Rolland Marcellus and Ralph Marcellus.

She is survived by: her former husband Lyle James Ault (Jim); her children, Stephen Wayne (Nancy) and Suza Leigh (Suzanne); her granddaughter Nicole Lynn; and her nephew Michael Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Betty's name to the First United Methodist Church, Greeley, or to the Humane Society of Weld County.
