McDonald (Gayle) of Hastings, Minnesota, Brad L. McDonald (Jean) of Frederick, Colorado and Jeff R. McDonald (Jenny) of Anchorage, Alaska; his grandchildren, Jake (Krista), Jenna (Dominic), Elyse, Talia, Hayden and Madison; his great grandchildren, Ryker, Rawah and Lincoln; his sister Kay Eichorn of Alcova, Wyoming; and his siblings-in-law, Mary McDonald of Westminster, Jim and Claudia Hering of Hampton, Virginia..
